Relaxation for the health of your body

Free Relaxation Script:

I am using relaxation to heal my body of any thing that ails it. I breathe and allow my

self to get settled in. I close my eyes. I am in my own safe place. Everything is familiar

and private. I begin to feel relaxed now. I allow myself to relax any way I want to.

Thoughts that come to my mind I see them sit on a cloud and float away. Some thoughts I

watch float down the bathroom sink…floating down and away. Others are carried away on the

wings of drifting leaves….drifting down deeper and deeper. I allow a good, pleasant feeling

to come all across my body. I am relaxed now. Relaxation is good for my body and my health. I am getting that feeling I get just as I am about to drift off to sleep. I will remain

alert and focused….and so relaxed…. I am alert and so relaxed. I let every muscle and every

nerve grow so loose… and so limp and… so relaxed. Arms limp now, limp like spaghetti. As I continue to relax I am aware of how good it feels to just do nothing. Relaxation is

becoming easier to do. Actually I am doing noting at all. I notice areas of my body that

are so relaxed. I focus on those areas and continue to sink deeper and deeper…going down and

floating in my safe place…in my private place…continuing to relax. Floating deeper and

deeper right here and right now. All the sounds around me I allow them to take me deeper

and deeper. More relaxed and at ease. I notice some tight areas, and I go there now. I allow the relaxed areas to follow ….and

surround the tight areas like a warm and comfortable blanket surrounds my body at night.

These areas become relaxed as I take a few deep breathes and release all the tension. I

settle in even more feeling like a rag doll, feeling so good, relaxed and focusing on my

breathing. I feel the beating of my heart, and I let it just slow down… allow it to be very quiet and

just slow down. That’s right. I allow every part of my body to just slow down and go even

deeper and even more relaxed. Relaxation is easier than I thought, and I do it easily and

effortlessly. Now I send a pleasant wave of relaxation over my entire body, from the top of your head to

the tips of your toes. The same feeling descends my body after I have taken a warm

refreshing shower from head to toe. I let every muscle in my face, down my back and my

arms….down my buttock and stomach…down my legs and my toes and ….down every nerve grow

loose and limp and relaxed. I allow this feeling of relaxation to take over my entire body

like the feeling of warm water from my shower. I am feeling more relaxed with each easy

breath that I take. Droopy, drowsy and sleepy. I am so calm and so relaxed. I am relaxing more with each easy

beat of your heart ... with each easy breath that I take ... with each sound that I hear. I

allow the sounds to come and take me deeper. Every sound in my environment has its place

and it allows me to relax even deeper. My arms are loose and limp, just like limp spaghetti or like a rag doll. I focus on my

hands, and I notice they are there, but not there. I am unaware of my fingers. I send the

feeling of deep relaxation to the rest of my entire body…I send that wave of relaxation

from the top of my head all the way down to the very tips of my toes. And as I do that I find that I double my previous level of relaxation.
