for the past few days of reviewing all the comments on different forums regarding the health benefits of glutathione, Im still looking for answer that will ease my mind. Can you please send me complete, accurate and with scientific basis of the effect of the said supplement.(the one that is taken orally)
Answer:
You are using the correct spelling of the word.
Glutathione occurs naturally in the human body, but decreases or changes like most chemicals and processes as the human body ages. There are no known negative side effects of glutathione ingestion.
However, as a product I must admit that I am unsure what difference there is between the efficacies of one brand of glutathione compared to another brand of glutathione. Meaning if you were to use the product branded by Immunotec Inc that I take called Immunocal/HMS 90, and compare it to another product brand during a clinical trial, would the Immunocal group come out ahead? I do not know the answer to that question, because I have never tried anything else, but I believe the scientific articles below will help you make a decision regarding the supplement.
1. Place for an antioxidant therapy in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection
2. The biological activity of undenatured dietary whey proteins: role of glutathione
3. Whey proteins in Cancer prevention
