I heard that glutathione are good to your liver too. My concern if my husband has a drinking habit of drinking at night and taking glutathione in the morning what would be the side effect to him?

Answer:

Actually, one of the wisest things your husband is doing for himself is taking glutathione in the morning.

Toxic hepatitis is a non-infectious condition caused by prolonged exposure to chemicals that damage the liver. Alcohol is the most common chemical used to abuse the liver.

If the habit becomes chronic, it of course leads to alcholism, which tends to lead to chronic disease. The prolonged exposure to alcohol often causes inflammation of the liver, which then produces cirrhosis (scarring) of the liver.

Taking glutathione plays a major role in liver functions, since it is that organs most abundant
antioxidant. The liver has the highest concentration of glutathoine in the human body.

It is the role of the liver to remove toxins from the body, and glutathione's role as a detoxifier is second to no other substance.

Glutathione neutralizes toxins in the liver, and helps to eliminate them through the liver and gut.

Adult levels of glutathione decreases with age, and any addition to the diet has a very positive side effect. However, the precise amount that is needed to have a protective effect is not exactly known.

As a life coach, I offer this suggestion that another wise action that your husband might consider is to skip a couple of evenings of whiskey to help the liver rest from the chemical assault.
