I am a Non Smoker

I am a non smoker free self hypnosis script:

I am aware that I have already completely uncovered the underlying cause of my compulsive smoking habit. I no longer feel the compulsion to smoke at all. I am now only dealing with a habit pattern. This is now only the hollow shell of my original problem.

Habits can be broken as easily as they are created. One of the ways to do that is to make me aware of my smoking. The main reason I have continued to smoke is because I am doing it unconsciously--- I have not really been aware of what I am doing.

But now I am. Each time I reach for a cigarette, my attention will be drawn to that cigarette and focus uncomfortably upon it. When I am aware of what I am doing, I am no longer in the unconscious habit. I already have little need to continue smoking.

I know that. So this will be easy and effortless.

There will be zero struggle and fight with will power that I may have experienced in the past, because anger, sadness, fear, and guilt are gone. All these emotions have been uncovered and are in the past.

From the very moment I reach for a cigarette, I will be extremely conscious of what I am are doing.

If I light it and start to smoke, I will be unusually aware of every moment of the time I am involved in smoking that cigarette.

I am now aware of the true self destructive nature of my habit. I am now very much aware when i am choosing this disgusting habit.

The awareness makes me annoyed with smoking and bored by it. I even want to put the cigarette out when I am only half-finish. It will not taste as good as it used to.

Smoking has stopped working for me. I have already made up my mind. I have found the reason I am smoking, and I have already made up my mind--- a final decision to stop smoking altogether.

I have already made up my mind that I ame going to stop now, not tomorrow, not the next day, but I am going to stop this very moment. I have made a final decision to stop smoking.

Smoking has stopped working for me Now.

I will stop smoking as of this very minute. I know why I want to. I am thinking about that reason.

I form the reason clearly in my mind. I think about the problems smoking causes. My reasons for smoking are in the past, so I am giving it up now.

I am giving up all the things that harm my health like destroying my lungs, destroying my cells, and my body. I am moving towards all the things I want like good health, a feeling of security, and happiness, and the desire to be the best writer, artists, father, mother, partner, sister, brother, daughter (whatever is important to you) that I can be.

I will forget about cigarettes altogether. Smoking has stopped working for me.

I am a non smoker without a thought of cigarettes in my mind. Consequently, my purchase of cigarettes will immediately cease for they cease to exist in my mind.

And should I perhaps accept a cigarette without realizing it, I will immediately be aware of it and will be overcome with an uncontrollable compulsion to break it in two as soon as it enters my hand.

Whenever I touch a cigarette, I will instantly break it in two. I will instantly break a cigarette in two when it touches my fingers. I am a non smoker and politely decline cigarettes.

I am both strong, and polite. I am both strong, and polite. I am both strong, and polite. I decide to please myself only by politely declining cigarettes.

I will instantly break a cigarette in two, and instantly recall the reasons for quitting the habit of smoking.

It will seem a small thing for me to give up smoking, considering the future I have created for myself to be a great singer, accountant, mother, partner, writer,(whatever is important to you).

It is easy to give up things like smoking that are unsupportive of the new me. Smoking is unpleasant for me, and is awkward for the new me as a non smoker.

I will begin to feel proud of myself, very proud. I will find it easier to conquer other habits. It makes it easier for me to conquer life in general.

It fills my ego, making me self-confident, self-assured and self-reliant.

I will keep a record in the beginning of my progress. Every single day, I will remind myself how successful I have been as a non smoker. I will tell myself that I am a non smoker.

I repeat these words to myself three times “smoking is disgusting and I am over smoking now”.

I repeat these words now to myself three times “ I am a non smoker, and I love myself.”

I will continue to keep a record of being a non smoker for 21 days. As the days go by it will encourage me and fortify me with a tangible record of my success.

And soon I will feel that as a non smoking that keeping a journal becomes irrelevant.

That record will be unblemished for the rest of my life. I am now on a new path in my life. I have began to discover the real me without emotions holding me back from my destiny.

I already know I am stronger than any habit. It is now me verses tobacco. I will easily win for I am stronger. I have a new awareness of my true self.

This awareness brings with it determination and great perseverance to be true to myself. I will go on patiently day to day. Every day will be a success.

If stresses enter my life, I now know that I can handle them as a part of daily life. I am a non smoker.

I now know I can visualize my future and see myself handle any stressful situation with success. If I have a job interview, I can imagine a positive conclusion of a successful interview. If my son, daughter, mother, father, husband, partner, boyfriend, girl friend, boss, (whatever is important to you.) stresses me out.

I can picture in my mind the future and see a successful resolution to the problem. I am a non smoker.

As a non smoker I am aware that boredom means I can rent a movie, go for a walk, call a friend, take my dog for a walk,(choose an activity you enjoy).

I accept some boredom as part of life. If the boredom persists, then I can consider joining a social group. Anything that interests me.

Every stress. Every obstacle I climb, I will look at that as success. I am the strong woman, man, girl, boy, that I admire. I have a deeper understanding of my strengths and my weakness, and that is a great success.
